Nursing facility announces new staff

Tina Hahner has joined Golden Living Center as the new Sales and Marketing Director for the Tomahawk and Rib Lake area, which includes the three skilled nursing facilities of Riverview, Golden Age, and Rib Lake.

“If I were to hand pick the best attributes in a Sales and Marketing Director, Tina would embody all I could ever wish for. She has effortlessly become an integral part of the Riverview Family and is a seasoned and top-notch professional.” said Jess Gaedtke, executive director, Golden Living Center –Riverview.

“I am very pleased to have joined such a wonderful company,” states Hahner. “I have been in this environment for many years and am very impressed with all three of the buildings I work in. All are beautifully decorated, and have the best staff working there. I very much enjoy working with the aging population and look forward to getting to know everyone in the communities I serve.”

Hahner brings with her wealth of experience. She has been in the skilled nursing industry for 13 years. Most recently, Hahner was the Marketing Coordinator for Prestige Health Care – Friendly Village and Taylor Park in Rhinelander.

Hahner lives in Rhinelander with her husband, Mark, and two children. Wade is a freshman at Rhinelander High School and Tori is a second grader. In her leisure time, she enjoys hanging out with her family, swimming, gardening, and desktop publishing. Her daughter keeps her very busy as she is a very avid figure skater who sends the family all over the state on weekends for competitions.

Bonnie Anderson as joined Golden Living Center-Riverview as the new Director of Nursing Services.

“We could not be more fortunate than to have Bonnie as our new Director of Nursing Services. She brings with her, experience, roots to the Tomahawk community and a passion for excellence in the long term care of our beloved Tomahawk residents.,” said Gaedtke.

“I am excited to get back to the community where I live,” said Anderson. “It feels good to have everything central for me. I truly enjoy working with this population and look forward to being with Golden Living Center - Riverview."

Most recently, Anderson was a unit coordinator for a Rhinelander skilled nursing facility. She started her nursing degree at Nicolet Technical College and received her RN from North Central Technical College in Wausau. She has been a registered nurse for ten years.

Anderson lives in Tomahawk and has three grown children. In her leisure time, she is enjoying the winter season with sledding.

Rhea Agbayani, PT has joined Aegis Therapies and will be providing physical therapy at Golden Living Centers of Golden Age and Riverview.

“We area fortunate to have Rhea join the therapy department. She has a great way with our residents and provides top notch physical therapy,” said Jean Richert, executive director, Golden Living Center –Golden Age.

“I am very pleased to be working in this environment. We do not have therapy in the nursing homes in the Phillipines. This is a great place to be,” commented Agbayani.

Agbayani brings with her over eight years of experience. She is originally from the Phillipines and completed her schooling there. She received her bacheolor of science degree in physical therapy in 2000. She moved to the United States and first worked in Las Vegas and Ironwood, Michigan before coming to Tomahawk.

Agbayani resides in Tomahawk with her husband, Rex. They love to watch movies and are just getting used to the northern Wisconsin winters.
