Several people were injured following a two-vehicle crash on Monday about 1:45 p.m. in the town of Pine River.

A vehicle being driven by 38-year-old Marie E. Frick was traveling east on State Road 64 when she rounded the curve at County Road X. Frick lost control on the icy roadway and slid into the path of a west bound pick up truck being driven by 44-year-old Michael L. Rondeau of Wittenberg.

Frick was transported by EMS to Good Samaritan Health Center in Merrill for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Rondeau refused medical treatment at the scene. Several minor children in the Frick vehicle were also transported to Good Samaritan Health Center to be checked for any possible injuries.

The Pine River Fire Department and First Responders also responded to this crash.
