Hi everybody. I will try and get some news to you this week. I have been pretty much under the weather for the past couple of weeks so some of this is from last week too.

First snow fall of the year was on Oct. 27. It was pretty but not nice so early. Naughty-naughty Mother Nature!

Joe LeMay, Shirley Ashbeck and I took a ride to Antigo last Monday to get me out of the house for a while.

Zack and Kassidy Ashbeck and cousin Katie Ashbeck spent the night with great-gramma Clara. Zack is a big help around the house doing things that I can't anymore. Thanks Zackie.

The new Thrift Store in Wabeno is the greatest. Everything is displayed just beautifully and there’s lots of room to move around. If you haven't been there yet, it’s a must. You'll be very pleased when you enter.

Marie Hafermann of Oshkosh was up for the weekend and made me an apple pie. Oh, it was so good!

Kevin LeMay of Oshkosh is spending a few days with his dad, Joe, giving a helping hand around the house inside and out before winter. Good job Kevin.

Don't forget our Senior Citizen meeting Nov. 13.

That’s about it for this week and hopefully I'll have myself straightened out soon and back on my feet.

Until then, have a happy and healthy one.

I didn't have any surgery this year, so it looks like I'll have to talk about my old one for another year.
