News : Health and Wellness Fair to be held Nov. 8

Ministry Medical Group is hosting a Community Health and Wellness Fair on Saturday, Nov. 8 from 9 a.m. to noon at their clinic located at 209 East Elm Street in Crandon. Ministry Health Care professionals and Community partners will be available with free information.

Event activities include free diagnostic health screenings including Diabetes Blood Glucose, Lipid Panel-fasting or Cholesterol (only) if non-fasting, PSA Prostate Screen for men 50+ years of age or men 40+ years with a family history of prostate cancer, blood pressure check, hearing screen and free tetanus shots (limited supply) provided by the Forest County Health Department.

The Community Blood Center will be conducting a blood drive. Consider donating. The local Lion’s Club will be collecting retired eyeglasses. Non-perishable food items will be collected for the local food pantry. Adult flu shots (120 doses) will be available for $25. Flu shot appointments are recommended, walk-ins will be accommodated.
