Hi everyone. I can’t believe what a wonderful holiday weekend this has been. No rain, not that we don’t need it though.

Shirley Ashbeck and two of her grandchildren, Abby and Katie Ashbeck of Kaukauna, and Adam Khammanivong of Appleton spent the night at the farm.

Shirley Shampo and myself were in Crandon on Wednesday, August 27 where I had a doctor appointment at Health and Wellness. As I was going in Ron and Judy Noffke were leaving. I guess we should car pool.

Labor Day as usual ended with a bang here in Carter as the Lemere's and Meyers held their annual Labor Day Flag parade. This year they held a wedding. The blonde bride and horney groom were wonderful. The bride’s men are so sexy and the wedding cake tasted great! (Clara even got a handful of it). Cher was a great singer and we had plenty of 'beverages' to drink even though they were two short of a six pack. The six pack were costumes that looked exactly like beer bottles. Too bad the go-cart 'limousine' broke down so the bride and groom missed out on their ride and had to walk. The Lemere's and Meyers always know how to have a good time, although they missed Larry and his Husquana. (That’s another story, right Larry?)

Anyone who hasn't seen this parade will have to make it a point of being here next year as it’s always been on Labor Day for quite a few years.

When I owned the Red Nose Bar they always stopped and now at my home. I am very honored to have them as that is what you call friends. They work on this project all year. What a great bunch.

Until next week, have a happy and healthy one.
