Marilyn E. Lindholm

Marilyn E. Lindholm, age 71, of Wabeno, formerly of East Troy and Milwaukee, passed on at her home on August 15, 2008.

Marilyn was born in Milwaukee on July 16, 1937 to the late William G. and Margaret (Riese) Beskow.

She married Robert Lindholm on November 6, 1976, and the couple lived in East Troy until they moved to Wabeno on June 16, 1994.

Marilyn will be remember as a loving person, devoted wife and mother who loved spending time with her family.

She was a fan of Garrison Keillor. She also enjoyed flower gardening, watching and caring for her birds, taking hikes and camping.

She is survived by her husband, Robert; six daughters, Sherry Pontell, Vicky Pontell (Sandy) Martin, Cindy Pontell (Roger), Julie (James) Coyle, Bonnie (Shawn) Merath and Lucinda Lindholm; four sons, Greg (Paula) Lindholm, Peter (Lisa) Lindholm, William Lindholm and David Lindholm; 21 grandchildren, Jaime, Travis (Nikki), Josh, Luke, Stephanie, Dilan, Joe, Janelle (Phil), Madeline, Brittany, Samantha, Jack, Brittanney, Trista, Kaitlyn Belle, J.P., Kassie Lee, Quentin, Jessica, Chalee and Sharee; and seven great-grandchildren, Marleigh, Alexandrea, Auburn, Mason, Talyn, Michael and Gaige.

The visitation was on Tuesday, August 19 from 1 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 2 p.m. at the Suminski Funeral Home in Wabeno. Leading the Memorial Service is Rev. Stella Sowder. Memorials will be shared with the National Audubon Society, 225 Varick St., 7th Floor, Dept. W., New York, NY 10014.

Marietta Wolff

Marietta Wolff, age 99, of Crandon, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at the AGI Healthcare Center in Crandon. She was born December 23, 1908 in Pittsburgh, Penn. to the late Andrew and Anna Pallo.

Marietta was a very active member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Crandon. She enjoyed visiting people in the nursing home at least once a week before making it her residence a few years ago. Marietta also enjoyed crocheting and knitting. She will be sadly missed by her family.

She is survived by son, Howard (Mary Jane) Wolff; grandchildren, David (Barbara) Wolff, Dale (Darcy) Wolff, Denise (Robert) Jensen and Dawn (Mike) Schilling; and great-grandchildren, Justin, Kelsey, Ashley, Bret, Zachary, Haley and Emily.

Visitation was held on Monday, August 18, 2008 from 9 to 9:45 a.m. at the Weber-Hill Funeral Home in Crandon. Funeral Mass followed at 10 a.m. at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Crandon with Father Ralph Gillis officiating. Weber-Hill Funeral Home of Crandon is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Ronda L. Votis

Ronda L. Votis, age 55, of Crandon, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2008. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 21 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Weber-Hill Funeral Home, Crandon. Visitation will continue on Friday, August 22 from 10 to 1 a.m at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Crandon. Funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Friday with Pastor Eric Vertien officiating. Interment will be at Crandon Lakeside Cemetery.
