For six summers, he spent time as caretaker of Riverside Bible Camp in Waupaca.

Avery is also well known for his sense of humor, and loved to tell a good joke (over and over). He was a “jack-of-all-trades”, repairing cars, tractors and building and repairing churches and homes for his family and friends.

I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him and honor him. With long life, will I satisfy him and show him my salvation.”

Visitation was held at Praise Chapel Community Church in Crandon on Tuesday, May 6 from 4 to 8 p.m., with a Praise and Sharing service at 7 p.m. Funeral will be held at Praise Chapel Wednesday, May 7 at 10 a.m.
