Library offers children’s programs
Baby Storytime

The Rhinelander District Library’s spring Baby Storytime are now in session and will run through May 19. These storytimes are conducted on Mondays at 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. Designed for young ones ages 6 months to 2 years of age, this 20-minute program consists of simple stories, fingerplays, and music. A social/play time follows each program. Baby Storytime is free of charge but registration is required and can be done by stopping by the Children’s Department or phoning (715) 365-1050.

Preschool Programs

Two programs for preschoolers are scheduled at the Rhinelander District Library on Thursday, April 10. A 20-minute Parent/Tot Time program for children age 2 to 3 who are accompanied by an adult begins at 10 a.m. in the Children’s Department. The theme for this program will be "Things That Grow.”

A 40-minute Story Time program for children age 3 to 6 is scheduled for 10 a.m. in the library meeting room. This week’s theme will be "My Body." At the completion of the programs, caregivers and children from both groups will gather together to do a simple craft.

Movie Tuesday

The full-length children’s movie The Water Horse (PG) will be shown on the big-screen TV in the Rhinelander District Library meeting room from 3:15 to 5:10 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15. No admission is charged.
