OCEDC holding annual luncheon April 25

The Oneida County Economic Development Corporation (OCEDC) will hold its Annual Luncheon on Friday, April 25 at noon at the Holiday Acres Resort in Rhinelander. The luncheon is held in an effort to bring community leaders, representatives of business, industry and governmental communities together to discuss what is happening in our community, future business needs, services and information available through OCEDC and how those services and information can assist local businesses.

OCEDC is a non-profit corporation that receives annual funding from Oneida County, the city of Rhinelander, and private businesses. A 17-member board of directors oversees the operation.

This year’s guest speaker will be Friedrich Schnook, Forth Infrastructure & Environment, LLC, Project Manager, Public Administration. Mr. Schnook’s presentation will address the role of Forth in the development of the Oneida County Sustainable Business Park. Also included in the program schedule is the introduction of the 2008-09 Board of Directors and incoming Oneida Count Economic Development Corporation Officers, the mission of OCEDC and the Corporation’s achievements of the past year.

Anyone interested in attending the Oneida County Economic Development Corporation Annual Luncheon can contact the OCEDC office between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday at (715) 369-9110. Advance registration of $15 is required. The registration deadline is Friday, April 18.
