(Snowbird News) - The Argonne Snow Birds from Florida wish all you snowpeople a Happy Easter. Bill and Barb Wilson left after a month. They visited many places: St. Augustine Disney World, Ocalia and the ocean. The day they left, Carl, Lorie and Randy Gretzinger arrived after spending a few days in Milwaukee with Lorie’s mother.

Nancy Donek and her two children, Jesse and Fye, spent a busy week with her parents Marian and Ken Kespers. They visited all the sites and got to swim in the ocean. Fye did a lot of fishing and riding the lawn mower. We all helped Nancy celebrate her birthday.

They left and Mike and Myrna (Gretzinger) Lone returned after 10 days in Green Bay doing taxes and going to doctor appointments.

Fred and Gordie are busy painting the inside of their home. Always something to do down here.

Harold finally got his boat back from the repair shop. Now he can do some serious fishing. Me, I just keep on planting more flowers. Our house plants grow outside here. Aloe vera, geraniums grow outside year-round.

Sorry to hear about Johnny Gretzinger’s death. His family and the Bassette family go way back when Abe Bassette and John Gretzinger Sr. had homesteads next to each other. Roy Gretzinger and Lola Basette got married and bought a farm a mile down the road.

Hope spring comes soon. If any of you cold weather people want a warm place to spend the long winter, we can fix you up. We have a spare place. Just write for more information: Mary Anne Jezeski, 114 Georgia Ave., Cresent City, FL 32112.
