Your School : Wabeno financial aid workshop rescheduled due to weather
Forward Service Corporation's Upward Bound (UB) and Educational Talent Search (ETS) staff will host a free financial aid presentation at Wabeno High School on Wednesday, February 13 beginning at 6 p.m. in the Wabeno High School Library. Anyone planning to enroll in a post-secondary education program in 2008 - 2009 is encouraged to complete a financial aid form.
Completion of a financial aid form is the first step in accessing money for higher education. Information will be provided on the financial aid process, scholarships and additional resources. Wabeno High School Seniors and their parents are especially encouraged to attend.
Educational Talent Search and Upward Bound programs are designed to provide fundamental support to participants in their preparation for postsecondary education. ETS/UB staff has worked closely with Wabeno High School staff for the past 17 years to bring expanded educational opportunities to students. Forward Service Corporation's Educational Talent Search and Upward Bound programs are funded through the United States Department of Education with $243,564 and $279,496 respectively.
