Winterfest Rendezvous

The Manitowish Waters Sno-Skeeters Snowmobile Club will host the 2008 Winterfest Rendezvous, Saturday, Feb. 16, from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Rest Lake Park in Manitowish Waters.

Activities include ice bowling, mini golf on ice, groomer rides, casting contest, blindfolded snowmobile race, ice auger races, ice diver for kids fishing, and snowmobile and all-terrain vehicle demos. Food, beverages and music will be available all day under a heated tent.

The main Winterfest event is an ice fishing contest. Pre-register at Townline Sports or Musky Country. Pre-registration fees are $20 per person and kids 12 and under free (adults receive three tickets toward prizes). On-site (day-of) registration is $25 per person and kids 12 and under are free (adults receive one ticket toward prizes). Team registration is $10 per person for a four-person team, but those registered on a team must also register as an individual. An angler may participate in both individual and team categories for $30 per person and each fish caught counts for both categories. First, second and third places will be awarded.
