Your School : Laona NHS to sell flowers for Valentine's Day

The Laona Chapter of the National Honor Society will be holding a fundraising activity for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as one of its community service projects.

The project is a “Flower Sale for Valentine's Day” with orders being taken for carnations and/or roses that can be delivered within, or picked up at, the school on Thursday, February 14.

The cost of each carnation is $3, while the cost of each rose is $5. Both types of flowers are available in pink, red, white and yellow.

Orders will be taken from noon on Monday, January 28 through noon on Friday, February 8 in the Edith Evans Community Library. Payment is required when each order is placed.

More information can be obtained from Jena Kitchmaster, Matthew Koch, Andrew Ouellette, Kathryn Sharko, Allyssa Tinsman and Kristin Zimmer or from Alice Sturzl, who is advisor to this organization.
