Forest County Health Department: Childhood Immunization Clinics are Monday, December 17 at the Laona Town Hall from 3:30 to 4 p.m.; Tuesday, December 18 at the Wabeno Town Hall from 3:30 to 4 p.m.; and Wednesday, December 19 at the County Health Department at the Courthouse in Crandon from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Call 478-3371 for appointments.

6th Annual Santa's Snoop Shop for kids under 12 at the VFW Hall in Crandon on Saturday, December 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

“Searching for the Christ Child” Christmas Concert will be presented at Praise Chapel Community Church on Sunday, December 16 at 6:30 p.m. Come and enjoy the stories of two different groups of people as they look for the Christ Child. A time for fellowship and desserts will be held following the concert. Presented by Praise Chapel Choir.

The Crandon Nutrition Site Volunteers, Commission on Aging & Aging and Disability Resource Center would like to invite all Forest County Seniors to the 4th Annual Senior Christmas Party. It will be held Wednesday, December 12 at the Crandon Community Building. Festivities start at 11:30 a.m. There will be entertainment, bingo, door prizes and lots of food and treats.

Crandon School Christmas Band & Choir Concert will be Monday, December 17 at 7 p.m. in the High School Auditorium. Come and enjoy the Holiday Music put on by our local students.

Don't forget to help a less fortunate child by donating a toy to Toys For Tots. Drop boxes are available at various businesses throughout the county.

Headwaters Christian Youth meets every Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the VFW Hall in Crandon. All youth from Junior through Senior High are invited to attend.

Victims Benefit Fund donations can be made at Crandon International Off-Road Raceway or Laona State Bank.

Narcotics Anonymous Meeting are every Saturday, at 10:30 a.m. at Indian Springs Lodge in Carter. Call Kari at 715-850-1862.
