Oktoberfest will be celebrated Saturday in the Reiter Center in Three Lakes from 5 to 7 p.m. with a buffet meal of German food provided by Oneida Village. Music will be performed by Charley Rogers' Musikanten for dancing from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m.

The proceeds from the dinner/dance will benefit the Alzheimer's Association. Advance reservations can be made by contacting the Alzheimer's Association's office at 362-7779. Adult advance tickets are $20, or $22 at the door. Cost includes admission, meal, music, door prizes, and six raffle tickets. Teens ages 12-17 are $10, or $12 at the door; children ages 7 to 11 are $5, or $6 at the door; age 6 and under are free.

The class A raffle provides chances to win a grand prize of a beautiful queen-size quilt made by Carolyn Dring of Land O' Lakes. Second prize is a hand-crafted boat style bookcase by Bob's Boats of Escanaba, Mich. Third prize is a three-night cabin package offered by Sweetwater Spirits & Resort of Eagle River. Raffle tickets may be purchased at the Three Lakes Information Bureau, various businesses in Three Lakes, the Rhinelander Alzheimer's Association office and from members of the Three Lakes Memory Loss Support Group. Cost of raffle tickets is $1 each or six for $5.

The raffle drawing will be held at 10 p.m. the evening of Oktoberfest, although ticket holders need not be present to win. For more information about Oktoberfest or the services of the Alzheimer's Association, call 715-362-7779 or visit www.alz.org/gwwi.
