Forest County Health Department - WIC Draft Pick Up is at the County Health Department in the Courthouse in Crandon from 8:30 a.m. until noon and 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Free Childhood Immunization Clinics are Tuesday, August 21 at the Wabeno Town Hall from 3:30 to 4 p.m.; Wednesday, August 22 at the County Health Department in Crandon from 1:30 to 4 p.m.; Monday, August 27 at Laona Town hall from 3:30 to 4 p.m. (Please call for an appointment at any site at 478-3371). Free Blood Pressure Clinic is Tuesday, August 28 at the Armstrong Creek Community Building at 11 to 11:30 a.m.

Rummage O’Rama is coming August 10 and 11 in Wabeno.

Argonne Fire Department Annual Argonne Days is Friday and Saturday, August 10 and 11 in Argonne.

Roberts Lake Fisheree & Corn Roast is Saturday, August 11 in Wabeno. Food is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fishing goes on from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

VFW Annual Corn Boil is slated for Saturday, August 18 in Laona.

Mno Kno Pow Wow is Saturday and Sunday, August 18 and 19 in Carter.

2nd Annual Mole Lake Heritage Days 200th Anniversary of the Battle of Mole Lake is scheduled for Friday through Sunday, August 24 through 26 in Mole Lake.

Music in the Park is being held in the Courthouse Square every Monday through August starting at 6:30 p.m. If it rains, it will be in the VFW Hall.

St. Mary’s of the Lake Annual Parish Picnic will be held at Cty Rd F in Lakewood on Sunday, August 19. Outdoor Polka Mass is at 10 a.m. with a picnic following.

Crandon Cross Country Practice begins Monday, August 13.

Narcotics Anonymous Meeting is held every Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Indian Springs Lodge in Carter. Call Kari at (715) 850-1862.

Flea Market is held every Friday in downtown Wabeno.

Crandon Water Ski Shows are Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. at Water’s Edge Lodge on Lake

Lucerne.
