Blood pressure clinic is Monday, July 30 at Newald Town Hall from 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Childhood free immunization clinic will be Tuesday, July 17 at Wabeno Town Hall from 3:30 p.m. to 4 p.m., Monday, July 23 at Laona Town Hall from 3:30 to 4 p.m. and Wednesday, July 25 at the County Health Department in Crandon in the courthouse.

Patsy Shay VFW Auxiliary will be distributing Poppies at the Fireman's Parade on July 4.

Laona Fire Department's July 4th celebration will be Wednesday, July 4.

After approval from the State and the City of Crandon, the land across from Best Western will be dedicated by the Northwoods Veterans Center and American Legion to all veterans from each branch of service July 4 at 10 a.m.

Forest County Humane Society rummage sale will be held July 5-7 in Wabeno.

Steam Up Days and Parade will be in Wabeno July 6-8.

Long Lake Volunteer Fire Department's 30th Anniversary Celebration will be July 7 and will include a noon parade and annual picnic. Contact Amanda at 715-674-2255.

Crandon Public Library Summer Reading Program presents Forensic Sculpturing by Dr. Donald Noel on July 11 at 1 p.m.

Relay for Life Cancer Walk will be held Friday and Saturday, July 20-21, in Cardinal Park, Crandon.

Downtown Wabeno flea market will be every Friday.

Narcotics Anonymous meetings are Saturdays, 10:30 a.m., at Indian Springs Lodge, Carter. Call Kari at 715-850-1862 for information.

Laona Park N Rec Registration is going on now. The program starts July 10.

Crandon Water Ski Shows are Wednesday evenings at the Water's Edge Lodge on Lake Lucerne.

Northwoods Cow is in Eagle River at the Area Chamber of Commerce and Visitor's Center on Railroad Street.
