Forest County Health Department free immunization clinic is Wednesday, June 27, at the County Health Department in the Courthouse, 1:30 to 4 p.m.; Tuesday, July 17 at Wabeno Town Hall, 3:30 to 4 p.m.; Monday, July 23 at Laona Town Hall, 3:30 to 4 p.m. and Wednesday, July 25 in the

Courthouse from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Also, Forest County walking trail information is available. HPV and Meningococcal vaccines are available; call 478-3371 for information. WIC Draft Pickup is Monday, July 2, and Thursday, July 5 from 8:30 a.m. to noon or 1 to 4:30 p.m. at the County Health Department in Crandon. Blood pressure clinic is scheduled for July 30 at Newald Town Hall, 11 to 11:30 a.m.

Forest County Potawatomi Health Fair will be Friday, June 29 in Crandon.

The third annual WOHVA Convention will be at Indian Springs Lodge in Carter June 29-30.

Crandon Fire Department's July 4th Festivities will be Friday and Saturday, June 29-30 in downtown Crandon.

Lake Metonga Association 2007 Annual Meeting will be June 30, 9-10:30 a.m. at the Crandon School Auditorium. Boat parade and cookout is Sunday, July 1. Parade begins at 2 p.m. at Mallards on Metonga.

Patsy Shay VFW Auxiliary will be distributing Poppies at the Fireman's Parade on July 4.

Laona Fire Department's July 4th celebration will be Wednesday, July 4.

Annual Lake Lucerne Boat Parade will be Wednesday, July 4 in Crandon.

Forest County Humane Society will hold a rummage sale July 5-7.

Steam Up Days and Parade will be in Wabeno July 6-8.

Crandon Water Ski Shows are Wednesday evenings at the Water's Edge Lodge on Lake Lucerne.

After approval from the State and the City of Crandon, the land across from Best Western will be dedicated by the Northwoods Veterans Center and American Legion to all veterans from each branch of service July 4 at 10 a.m.

Crandon Public Library Summer Reading Program starts Wednesday, June 27 at 1 p.m. with Dr. Becker hunting for rocks.
