Albertus attains doctorate of audiology
Christine Albertus, Au.D., has earned her Doctorate in Audiology from Central Michigan University, Mount Pleasant, Mich. Albertus has been an Audiologist with Marshfield Clinic Minocqua Center since 1993 helping patients with hearing loss.
“Chris completed her doctorate degree studies while still providing care for patients in a busy practice,” said Julie Clark, manager, Marshfield Clinic Minocqua Center. “This shows her willingness to give an extra effort to ensure she has the latest and most advanced education in order to best serve our patients. We congratulate her on this recent achievement.”
Albertus received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Wisconsin in Stevens Point. She completed her fellowship at Milwaukee Otologic in Hales Corners and is licensed by the State of Wisconsin.
She specializes in the determining the type and degree of hearing impairment in patients, its effects on comprehension and speech, and the implementation of preventive or rehabilitative services to help improve hearing. She has a special interest in neuroaudiology and balance disorders.
