Adleman will see patients for initial visits and follow-up care, work with patients to monitor their blood pressure and cholesterol, and consult with hospitalized heart patients.

“I chose Marshfield Clinic Minocqua Center because I foresee a need to further advance cardiology in the rural areas that Minocqua services,” said Adleman.

“We are very happy to have Sharon join our Cardiology team,” said Rick Clark, Administrator, Marshfield Clinic Minocqua Center. “She is very patient focused and has an extensive level of education and experience that will greatly benefit our department.”

Prior to joining Marshfield Clinic Minocqua Center, Adleman worked as a nurse practitioner for Cardiology Associates of Green Bay, and as an Interventional Radiology and Cardiac Catheterization nurse for St. Nicholas Hospital, Sheboygan. She has many years of experience in caring for young adults to elderly patients with heart problems.

Adleman completed her bachelor of science in nursing degree from Viterbo College, La Crosse, and her master of science in nursing degree, certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner, from University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

“In order to provide our patients with faster access to appointments, effective mid June, we will begin utilizing our nurse practitioners in cardiology to a greater extent,” said Melinda Ogstad-Vallier, Manager, Cardiology department.
