Free nature trail tours
Trees For Tomorrow, the natural resource specialty school located in Eagle River, continues the tradition of offering free nature trail tours every Wednesday from June 20 through August 15. These popular tours take place on Trees For Tomorrow's campus, 519 Sheridan Street East. As a Trees For Tomorrow naturalist leads groups on an easy 1/3 mile trail hike, participants are provided natural and cultural information regarding the beauty and history of the forest plants. The tours begin at 2 p.m. and usually take about 45 minutes. All nature trail tour participants receive a free tree seedling at the conclusion of the tour. READ MORE >
