Parents of Twins
Parenting can be hard, especially when you have two or more little ones that need you. Could you use new ideas, time saving tips or just some encouragement to help you cope? Join in a Conversation Group for Parents of Twins & More at the Family Resource Connection Ministry Riverside Clinic, 1020 Kabel Avenue Rhinelander, May 1, the first Tuesday of the month, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. The group will continue to meet on the first Tuesday of each month thereafter.
Sherrill Fielhauer, a mother of twins herself, will facilitate the conversations about new resources. Parenting can be challenging. The support of people with a similar lifestyle can make your role much easier.

I Hate Hamlet performances
Performances of the play, “I Hate Hamlet,” will begin May 4 at the Nicolet College Theatre. The play, a comedy, revolves around TV actor Andrew Rally, who recently had his series canceled and is offered the chance to play Hamlet in Central Park. There’s just one problem: he hates Hamlet. When Andrew’s agent visits him, she reminisces about her brief romance with John Barrymore and summons his ghost to Andrew’s apartment. Barrymore arrives intoxicated and in high Shakespearean costume and presses Andrew to accept the role of Hamlet to fulfill his destiny as an actor. The laughs come quick as Andrew wrestles with his conscience, Barrymore, his sword, and the fact that he fails as Hamlet.
Performances will be in the Nicolet College Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, May 4 and 5, and Thursday through Saturday, May 10 to 12, and at 2 p.m. on Sundays, May 6 and 13. Tickets are $7 general public, $5 students and senior citizens, and can be ordered online at www.nicoletlive.com or by calling the Box Office at 715-365-4646 or 800-544-3039, ext. 4646.

Diabetes Support Group
A support group providing ongoing diabetes education to people in the community will meet from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 1 in the lower level of Marshfield Clinic Minocqua Center. Linda Daubner, R.D., certified diabetes educator, will present “Creative Ways to Stay Out of the Kitchen” live via teleconference.

We work with other Marshfield Clinic centers around the state to pool resources regarding speakers and topics,” said Molly Emmerich, R.N., C.D.E., certified diabetes educator, Marshfield Clinic Minocqua Center. “The group certainly would be beneficial for friends and/or family members of people with diabetes or pre-diabetes.”

Upcoming topics include:
- May 1: Creative Ways to Stay Out of the Kitchen - Keeping Your Summer Cool, presented by Daubner
- June 5: Are You Ready for Summer? Tips for Dealing with Diabetes in the Summer
