F.R.A.S. sponsoring spay/neuter assistance program for local families

The F.R.A.S. (The Friends) are sponsoring a spay/neuter assistance program to help curb the pet overpopulation. The program is being offered to qualified low-income families that reside in Oneida County.

To qualify, you must provide proof of one of the following: Receiving or eligible to receive food stamps, Social Security Disability, Medicaid, and/or Supplemental Security Income.

ADVERTISEMENT

A co-payment of $20 for cats and $30 for dogs along with a voucher are required at the time services are provided.

F.R.A.S. does not pay for optional services.

This community outreach program is funded by the “Friends” aluminum can collection at the Outdoor Recycling Center, located next to the National Guard Armory in Rhinelander.

Monetary donations can be mailed to F.R.A.S., P.O. Box 536, Rhinelander, WI 54501.

Donations are tax-exempt.
