Community - Crandon Public Library

In the next few weeks, my staff and I will be changing to a new system called VCAT. All materials in the library need to be added into a new database and all the patrons that use the library will need new library cards. The new system will allow you to order books online from anywhere in the surrounding areas. The library staff and I would like to apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause our patrons, but know that we are doing our best.
Most of you know that we lost a very special person at our library last month. Grace Flanery was a dear friend, a dedicated employee and staunch supporter of the library and its programs. I loved her and will miss her.
New Books at the Library
“Cloud of Unknowing” by Thomas Cook, “Bad Blood” by Linda Fairstein, “Deeper Sleep” by Dana Stabenow, “Death of a Dreamer” by M.C. Beaton, “Stalemate” by Iris Johansen, “Successor” by Stephen Frey, “Deal Breaker” by Harlan Coben, “Last White Night” by Tami Hoag, “Mystical Life of Jesus” by Sylvia Browne, “Prudence of Flesh” by Ralph McInerny, “Suspect” by John Lescroart, “Web of Evil” by J.A. Jance, “When Darkness Falls” by James Grippando, “After This” by Alice McDermott, “Be My Valentine” by Debbie Macomber, “Deadly Gamble” by Linda Lael Miller, “Exile” by Richard Patterson, “Fire and Rain” by Elizabeth Lowell, “Plum Lovin” by Janet Evanovich, “Sea of Thunder” by Evan Thomas, “Sunset” by Erin Hunter, “Breakpoint” by Richard Clark and “Widow” by Carla Neggers.
I would like to take this time to thank all of you who donated in memory of Grace Flanery and Barb Nelson. Thank you for generous donations to the library. I would also like to thank the following patrons for their donations to the library: Forest County Lake Association, Forest County Library Association, Bess Aho, Deb Schoepker, Roger and Marie Evanoff, Arlene Champine, Erma Evans, Dave Asbach, Walter Whitmore, Lela Burl, David Stover, Joann Yingling, Mary Sprenger, Roxanne Sprehe, Dick Van Weelden, and Nancy Conway.
