WPS Prevea Health Plan has been renamed Arise Health Plan. Wisconsin Physicians Service Insurance Corporation (WPS Health Insurance) purchased Prevea Health Plan in June of last year to strengthen their presence in northeast Wisconsin and to bring the resources of a statewide organization to a regional HMO.

Arise Health Plan will continue to provide HMOs and Point of Service Plans to businesses of all sizes and will operate as a stand-alone business. The name change does not affect the operations of Prevea Health Services, Prevea Health Network or Prevea Clinic.

Arise Health Plan, which is accredited by The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), serves clients in northeast Wisconsin, including Green Bay, Manitowoc and the Fox Valley. Arise Health Plan features a network of thousands of providers.

Arise Health Plan will continue to operate out of its current office at 2710 Executive Drive in Green Bay and Mark Minsloff will continue to lead the HMO as Chief Operating Officer.
